A light guided hike to the observation tower of the Himmaan Peak. From the top of the tower you can get a hawk-eye view of the landscape. In the magnificent hut, you can cook delicacies over a fire or enjoy a ready-made lunch.
On a historical path
Walk along the beautiful village track and dive into the forest on an old path. This path has been used since the 1500s. Deer, black grouse, rabbits, deer and lynx are familiar animals along the path. Guide of the group tells stories about the surrounding nature. Gradually you climb up the Himmaan hill and suddenly you arrive at the foot of the observation tower, the Himmaan Peak.
The observation tower is 22 m high and offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside. You can feel the fresh breeze and the space in the sky. You can see for yourself how Finland is a land of forests. At best, you can see 30-40 km away.
Unique Himmaan hut
At the foot of the tower is a large hut for 60 people. Sit down by the fire in the cozy hut and smell the scent of the living fire. Enjoy coffee and tea and traditional finnish cinnamon rolls in the hut.
